“Bread of Life (John 6: 35-40)” by Fr. Michael Sparough, S. J.

This Sunday is the feast of Corpus Christi – The Body and Blood of Christ. In honor of this feast, Fr. Michael chose his homily “Bread of Life” from the Gospel of John. In this Gospel, Jesus says. “I Am the Bread of Life….”

Fr. Michael shares that one of his favorite things to do is to lead pilgrimages, especially to the Holy Land. During these pilgrimages, Fr. Michael was able to be at the exact spot where Jesus gave this discourse in John, Chapter 6; the Scripture that emphasizes the Eucharist.

There is a deep hunger and thirst in all of us, and  Jesus is what fills us.  Just click on the arrow to hear Fr. Michael inspiring words:

God Bless You!
