“The Contemplation to Obtain Divine Love (John 15: 9-17) by Fr. Michael Sparough, S.J.

This homily addresses the Gospel of John 15. In this Scripture, Jesus gives his disciples the heart of the Good News, which is:”Love one another as I have loved you!”

Jesus shares this message at the last supper. This is followed by Jesus washing the feet of His disciples to teach them how to be a servant leader.

Fr. Michael gives the spiritual definition of love. He also shares that our true purpose in life is to learn how to love.
