“Mary’s Choice (Luke 1: 26-38)” by Fr. Michael Sparough, S.J.

The month of May has arrived. May is the month dedicated to 0ur dearest Mother Mary. In honor of Our Blessed Mother, Fr. Michael shares this homily on “The Annunciation.”

As Fr. Michael prayed about this feast, he reflected and then shared a poem on the Annunciation by Denise Levertov, who was a convert to Catholicism. This poem describes Mary’s true humility, which demonstrates her courage and confidence in the Lord.
